THE GOOD NEWS

Repent, because now is the time to seek the Lord! All of us have sinned, none of us are perfect. The Word of God says, our righteousness are like filthy rags and since God demands perfection, we have all fallen short of that perfection.

The good news is that because God loves us so much, He made a way for all of us to be perfect before Him and that Way, the only Way, is through Jesus Christ. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” John 3:16-17 NKJV

What is it that God wants us to believe about His only begotten Son Jesus Christ? God the Father, Elohim wants us to believe (have faith in) whatever Christ says. To believe in Him is to trust whatever He says. Jesus says, ““I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.”” John 10:11, 18 NKJV. Jesus sacrificed Himself so that we can all through Him be forgiven, made righteous, have access to God the Father, and have eternal life. It is a known fact and cannot be disproven, “that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures,” I Corinthians 15:3-4 NKJV

If by faith, you and I believe this, if we trust in the testimony of Jesus Christ as the scriptures declares, then by openly declaring our faith and trust in Christ we shall be forgiven of all our sins and have everlasting life.

This is the good news and some of the precious promises of The Word of God Who is Christ. We can escape the corruption that is in the world because of lust, and we can become part-takers of God’s divine nature given to us by the workings of His Holy Spirit. We can escape depression, lust, evil thoughts, and desires. You can have victory over the dark spirits, demonic attacks, fear, and the things that makes you cut and want to hurt yourself. You can have peace, joy, love, and hope. There’s life beyond your current situation because Jesus Christ made a way of escape for you.
